Skilled Billing, Inc is an independent Billing Services company dedicated to assisting healthcare professionals. Our owner has kept the business small by design to ensure personalized service to every client. We can do virtually anything that a “big” billing company can do for you with the added benefit of personalized service that is so rare nowadays.

We recognize that every team is different so we customize our program for each client by assessing billing needs which creates a service that is unique to you. We will help you spot problems in your billing department, troubleshoot your billing verification, and streamline your office's claims preparation. We will keep you apprised of our work, and we will liaise with your staff as needed to maximize results.

I have always been interested in the subject of healing in general and initially trained as a medical professional in the 70s. A serious car accident which threatened to render me disabled led me to chiropractic care. The effective help I received started my interest and study of other forms of healing. Later, in the 80s After extensive training in Hubbard management technology I embarked on a career as a practice management consultant where I helped healthcare professionals flourish and prosper In their chosen field.

A common and challenging area as a consultant was the establishment of consistent and stable cash flow. Typically, the practitioner had an in-house biller who wore too many hats and when asked, could not define basic insurance terms. The combination of overload and lack of basic training in the technology of billing was a recipe for disaster.

Many practitioners resorted to outsourcing their billing to a company that focused on volume of claims filed and not accuracy and effective follow up. Again, a scenario that is not conducive to maximum cash flow.

As a solution to this common weakness in healthcare practices, I started my billing company, Skilled Billing Inc. I have always believed that individuals who have invested huge resources in developing a skill that helps others should be well paid! It is my mission to make this a reality.
